Strawberry Inn is a wonderful choice for weddings, reunions, anniversaries, birthdays, retreats and small business conferences. Ceremonies and meetings are often held in the octagonal two-story gazebo next to the restaurant. From here, you can watch the river waters tumble downstream over thousands of rocks worn smooth by time. An open-beamed roof provides shade, and dozens of pine trees filter the view. Another ceremony option is the lawn adjacent to the Inn. Bordered and partially shaded by tall pines, this open expanse of grass requires little decoration, and a staircase leading down to the lawn makes a convenient entrance for the bride.
Receptions take place either in the gazebo or on the lawn, and because both are outdoors, you will get the full experience of the scenery, mountain air, and the rush of the river. There are fifteen rooms for overnight guests, which is especially convenient if you have your quests coming from out of town. All guest rooms have been recently renovated, and some have very nice river views. After the wedding, go fly fishing or sunbathing in the Inn's backyard, or hiking on the nearby trails. Strawberry Inn offers the kind of hospitality you'd expect in the unspoiled High Sierras. Our gazebo overlooks the Stanislaus River and provides a world class venue for any important occasion.
